Can you wash a weighted stuffed animal?

Spot cleaning is always the best method. Simply dab any marks with a damp cloth, lukewarm water and a little mild soap. While machine washing is possible, note that the fur and weighted filling can clump after the first machine wash. If a deep clean is necessary (for example, after an accident), place the plush in a fine-mesh wash bag and machine wash at 60°C with the spin cycle completely turned off. Let it dry flat on a warm surface, gently massage the filling back into place, and brush the fur once completely dry. Never put a weighted stuffed animal in a tumble dryer.
